This day provides a rich introduction to Nepal before continuing your journey toward Bhutan.

A. Swayambhunath Stupa

Swayambhunath Stupa is a Buddhist monastery that lies on a hilltop in the Kathmandu Valley. It is one of the oldest religious sites in Nepal. This stupa comprises prayer flags in bright colors as well as temples and famous Buddha eyes, which can be seen from any direction. Monkeys are found here in abundance, and the square is hence also known as "monkey temple".

B. Patan Durbar Square

The famous Patan Durbar Square of Lalitpur is renowned for its Newari style of construction and architecture, dating back many centuries. The square has intricately carved palaces, royal courts, stone sculptures and traditional temples that show Nepal's artistic and culture excellence. Its ancient alleys offer a fascinating look at the history, culture, and lifestyle of Kathmandu Valley.

C. Boudhanath Stupa

Boudhanath has one of the largest stupas of Buddhism in the entire world. It is also a center for Tibetan Buddhism. Its golden spire and massive white dome dominate the skyline. Around the monument are rows of monasteries, prayer wheels and other religious buildings. While chanting, pilgrims and priests continue to circle the stupa. It creates an incredibly spiritual and serene environment. The site provides a unique chance to see Tibetan Buddhist culture in action.

D. Pashupatinath

Pashupatinath Temple in Nepal is the most revered Hindu pilgrimage destination dedicated to Lord Shiva. It's located along Nepal's sacred Bagmati River. The temple complex has a traditional pagoda architecture, riverside ghats and centuries-old religious traditions. The main temple is only open to Hindus. However, visitors are welcome to observe the surrounding temples. They can also witness the sacred rituals and spiritual ceremonies that take place all day. This gives a great insight into Nepalese Hindu culture.

You can spend the rest of the day in your hotel after the tour. Choose to relax in your hotel, visit the nearby markets, or just enjoy the comfort and convenience of your room before embarking on the exciting journey.
